Smooth like a river stone!

I was watching a documentary on Joni Mitchell and I was really taken with a comment by David Crosby of her:
"I think she had more understanding than most people do of human beings.
She had already been through some hard things and - what makes human beings get wisdom is paying dues.
Sort of like - you arrive here as a boulder, you knock corners off yourself until you get smooth like a river stone - and she was already starting to get smooth."
It's taken awhile but I am finally starting to get smooth too - whew!
How's your boulder going?

10,000 visits!

RWCN is delighted to announce that there have been 10,000 visits since it's inception a couple of years ago.
I would like to thank all those visitors, who have come from every part of this planet of ours, for taking the time to do so.
I have purposely attempted to make this site non specific and not just a rave about everything that is happening in my own life as so many are.
Hence the use of the word network rather than blog. Thanks again for visiting.

Waveriders (Papa He'e Nalu) - My new blog!

I have come to the conclusion recently that some people's view of the notion of surfing is very narrow and so much so, that they are actually denying themselves by adopting this attitude.
I am not one of those people and rather than using the term "surfer" to describe what I love to do, I am now using the term "Waverider".
Are you a Waverider?
