Every piece of plastic that's ever been made, except a small amount that's been incinerated, still exists.

I was watching a wonderful documentary this morning called "Addicted to Plastic" about the vast problems associated with it's disposal and the myriad of wonderful solutions that have or are being developed.

There are many wonderful solutions, but I was particularly taken with a product produced by Melbourne company, Plantic Technologies, who have produced a starch based plastic with all the capabilities of the petroleum based product but completely bio degradeable as it dissolves in water......and you can eat it too!
